the fix suggested by Nicolò Chieffo only works for me if the default
size is set to 100%, having it set to 50%, the emblem is still
completely unvisible, in feisty it wasn't.

When I boot my sytsem and log in through GDM, the Gnome Desktop happily starts
up till the splash-screen shows "restricted-manager". The splash screen does
not go away, nor can I access the panels.

On my Dell Latitude D810, the brightness slider does not show up in the
settings dialog on the Battery Tab. The Brightness Applet doesn't work either.
Setting the Brightness using the FN keys on the keyboard works fine.

I'm using reiserfs3 on a local disk. It started after upgrading to feisty.
I get the message only once, independant of the number of objects in the trash
can.

It was defenitely the filesystem's fault that it did not work, but I
still think it would be nice to tell the user about the problem. It
actually seems to be detected as it is written out on the console if
Synaptic is started from the commandline.

ms-tnef is the so called MicroSoft Transport Neutral Encapsulation
Format. I actually found a small command line utility, ytnef, which is
able to handle this format, but it would be nice to handle it
transparently from within Evolution.
At the Moment, i only have some attachments containing sensit
unfortunately i can't reproduce it anymore, the permissions where shown normaly
as drwx--, the whole directory wasn't accessible at all, even for root.
After a reiserfsck --rebuild-tree, Synaptic was working again.
All I can remember was that it was something with can't accessc
/tmp/orbit-ro

generating svg output with the graphviz package (dot, neato, ... ), i
get a svg file which does not render properly. Opening it in a text
editor and saving it explicitely as utf-8 fixes the problem, so i assume
that the encoding of the file does
