UPDATE: the mic is working. This was my fault, the controls should be
adjusted to Dmic, which seems to refer to the internal / digital mic.

I get the same problem on my gentoo box. A simple way to reproduce is adding
"127.0.1.1 hostname"
to you /etc/hosts
It looks like avahi will tread nslookup success that does not map to an
_assigned_ ip of the local host as a conflict. Not sure about secondary
IPs, but I would expect other bugs/rep
