By default, the python 2.7 on Ubuntu/Debian is using ascii as default
encoding. There is an option in /usr/lib/python2.7/site.py, user can
enable to support locale aware default string encodings, which is a
system wide setting.

It's an known issue of OSX clipboard sharing. VNC session will be
frozen once you copy some text in your X.
Temporarily workaround is to disable clipboard, but there is no options
in vinagre.

Hi, The plugin has been rewrote for Evolution 2.30, which will be used
in maverick. I have ported and uploaded the package for maverick to my
PPA https://launchpad.net/~chihchun/+archive/ppa/+packages
The Evolution APIs are changed after 2.30, so don't try to backport
0.0.4 to lucid or karmic.
There should be a crash report in your ${HOME}/.googleearth/crashlogs/

After a quick test, I found this configuration only works if you have
the right locale data in the system.
For example, if you like to have en-US as reply_header_locale. You will
need en_US in your system, you can check with this command in a terminal
$ locale -a|grep en_US
en_US
