This is a fresh Mythbuntu installation. After the installation process
and the machine restarted I quit the MythTV front end. I saw the update

You can enable apport for one instance like this:
sudo force_start=1 /etc/init.d/apport start
I am marking this invalid as apport will open a new bug when the crash
is
