This bug affects me as well. Using a Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone
running Android 4.0.4. Connection to phone turns itself on an off,
seemingly at random. File transfer of small files from computer to
phone has succeeded. Connections from phone to computer always fail.

Nano. The unmount was successful, but the gvfs volume monitor crashed
about two seconds afterward.
