It seems that bcm43xx driver now works with Feisty's kernel 2.6.20-12.
I haven't tested the speed yet but I'm getting so far the same speeds as with
ndiswrapper (4mbit)

When I turn my Dell Inspiron 1501 on with the lid closed, the screen stays
blank when it's done with booting.
Restarting gdm doesn't work (ctr-alt-backspace & via tty1 /etc/init.d/gdm
restart), changing to terminal with ctr-alt-f1 works.

How do you change the priority?
I would say, make the users, who have these programs, change their
script prioritity and let's see if it helps...

However, "ircpoll acpi=force" is not needed. Only "pci=nomsi" is needed.
With that, you also wikidon't get any nasty IRQ traps.

After blacklisting video (add blacklist video to
