GNOME 42 the remote desktop support moved from VNC to RDP. We have the

Ok, hopefully a real fix by the time 22.04 becomes official. I upgraded
workstation early just to find these kind of problems ahead of upgrading

That did make it work but linking to a previous version of python rather
than fixing the application so that it does not use a deprecated
function does not seem like a good long term solution.

We are using `/var/lib/ubuntu-advantage/status.json` directly to avoid
the server round trip as we want the current status quickly when
starting the UI. The file also allows us to watch it for changes and
update the UI accordingly.
It would be more desirable to use `ua status --format=json`, but

Until the update of Wine today, wine played WinAmp fine without audio skipping,
now after the update it skips, not a happy camper. I am running kernel 5.16.14
on an Intel I7-9700k clocked at 4.8 Ghz, and other than the Ubuntu Mate Desktop
