Upstream reported this crash was replaced with a memory leak. Testing
in Jaunty (gconf-editor 2.26.0) fails to reproduce the crash. Closing
as the memory leak is a very minor issue and is tracked upstream.

It does appear to be a GTK+ quirk that is being triggered by
translate_widget(). It occurs when the label is set for the GtkRadioButtons.
This can be proven by skipping this step for widgets which start with 'login_',
i.e.
if not widget.get_name().startswith('login_'):
It appears to be on the second translate that the problem occurs.

vinagre client connected to a vino server.

GTK+ does not currently support setting data for treestores. As a

Running the following PyGTK program in metacity, compiz_ubuntu5 and
compiz_ubuntu6 shows the behaviour has reverted to opening in the background as
expected:

The stack trace shows the code iterating over a list of file descriptor
structures and an iteration returning invalid memory (as shown in the
many duplicates). Each file descriptor has an arbitrary callback
attached to it. I'd bet a lot of money the bug is the list is being
modified inside on of
