Open two Terminal Windows. Maximize both by dbl clicking on the titlebar.

1) My MP3 files are on external USB drive, that is automatically mounted by
Ubuntu
2) I use smart-playlists (by search) to organize my mp3 file. deleting a file
in a playlist makes banshee crash after the 3rd or 4th file ...

Whenever I enable Desktop Effects my Gnome Terminal cannot draw the
fonts at all ... I just see a plain background-colored rectangle.
Disable Desktop Effects makes it usable again.
