didn't show up, but when I went back in the calendar to the days the
recurring events started, they appeared everywhere they were supposed to

I can only duplicate this bug when I have used the ``powertop''
application to disable HAL's polling of the CD drive and then change a
CD. So, steps for me to duplicate:
1) insert CD into CD-ROM drive.
2) run ``sudo powertop''
3) after a while, at least on my laptop which is an HP Pavilion DV2815N

When I disable LID0 in /proc/acpi/wakeup, the computer doesn't wakeup

FAQ for omnibook:

Not much... actual support for “ectype 14” (Toshiba Satellite A100,
A105, M115, ...) is missing due to lack of documentation. You can
display the LCD backlight level but trying to change

Confirming this affects a Toshiba A105-S2101. Disabling wireless at
boot has no effect. This system does not use ipw3945.

They don't work on the A105-S2101 either. I wrote down from the manual
what all the keys are supposed to do on the Wiki:

[Fn + F10] and [Fn + F11] seem to be hardware controlled, so it does not
seem to be Ubuntu's fault that tho
On a Toshiba A105-S2101, I get this warning as well:
