Daniel, I was reading your comments - and I agree that asoundconf is
much harder to maintain. Even after all these years of using computers,
I'm still a little new to programming. But I have absolutely no problem
with linux scripts. My gripe is this: some sound cards don't accept
Pulseaudio
Thank you, Linux community, for maintaining a well-oiled operating
system for me. I'm a multimedia guy and a musician, I CANNOT go without
decent multimedia encoders/decoders and unified audio drivers for
software. Anyway, I'm just a hack at programming, I'm no expert. I
