No text display (boot messages) and my keyboard doesn't work either
(USB).
Hooking up a usb keyboard and hitting control-d (even though I can't see
anything on the screen) eventually lets Ubuntu boot normally. I can't

I have the same issue. Installed sqsh from the repos & running:
sqsh -S "dbserver\dbinstance" -D database -U username
asks me for a password.
In intrepid, I put it in and it drops me to the CLI & I can query the
DB.
In Hardy it simply drops me back to the shell.
This is a major problem.

Actually, my mousemove doesn't work if any application is already on the
primary monitor.
a double xte "mousemove" moving the cursor to an "off the primary, onto
the primary" works.

to get it back, I need to do an xte mousemove which relocates the cursor on the

broken. it seems that open trying this combination, the intel nic
Hm, after reboot it is not working again.
I will do more testing to see what is happening. The broadcom nic is
the active port and the intel nic sends out lacp info & receives nothing
from the switch. Switch shoes the port as "suspended"
