When one needs to generate the final .gschema.xml file from an .in,
either for specifying default values at build time, or to enable
translations, the GSettings module is not usable, as it only takes the
name of the file as an argument, and assumes the file is always in
CURREN
This never would have worked, as the mir demos do not have .desktop
files for them. Also App IDs cannot have _ in the appname or package
name portion of the ID, as it is a separator. The format for App IDs is
"${packagename}_${appname}_${version}" and so _ is not a valid
character.

Do you have a screenshot or something? There is only one indicator-
bluetooth for both unity 7 and unity 8, and only one copy of it can be
running, since two processes can't own the same dbus service name. Is
this still an issue on 14.04, 16.04, or 16.10?

Unity 8 does not hide indicators in drop-down when their root item is set

The indicators *do* hide themselves (they set the visibility of their
root item to false). This works fine in unity7, and in unity8 it only
works half-way.
In unity8, when an indicator sets its root item visibility to false, the
icon disappears from the top panel in general, but when the drop-down
