I re-opened this bug thread because I have the exact same problem. I use Ubuntu Gutsy, and evolution-data-server 1.12.1-0ubuntu1. I'm attaching a valgrind report, I got using this command: evolution --force-shutdown G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
