I have similar problems.
I haven't keytouch installed.
I try with Ubuntu 8.04; 8.04.1 and Linux Mint Elyssa: all of them seems have
the same related Segfault Gdm Bug.
My PC is an laptop Acer Aspire 1350, Athlon-XP-M 2200 +, 1Gb Ram, 20Gb Hdd.
Currently, I am using XDM manager; but without menu log
When I try using Terminal, doesn't start too.
The output is:

scrolling in word processors and other applicatives also don't work. It

Smooth scrolling don`t work in my Edgy Eft RC3 (install: october, 20, 2006). I
also had change firefox 2.0 to firefox 1.0.5.7 and to Mozilla Web Browser and
