I resolved the issues by:
1. changing the default player
2. opening a PDF document that contains a link to a local video

My specific scenario is that I'm creating a PDF (by exporting from Emacs
/ Org-Mode) that contains a link to a local video. It may have been a

is at least a mention of a higher 'upstream' version in the 'actions
