Removing / Installing OOo Base shows up an FSF JVM in list of JVM's, available for OOo. With FSF JVM, OOo Base is faster than with buggy 6b20, but still much slower than with 6u22. I've not tested current 6u23 version. I only have a 6u22 binary package for Linux x64, here it is:
