Right-click -> Configure Panel on the newly created panel and try to change its
size - it will change the size of the first panel not the new one

I did a clean reinstall of Kubuntu 7.04 beta - it seems that you have
to restart KDE to see the list box that allow you to select the panel.
It is not present just after creating the new pane

This is really annoying when trying to install Kubuntu at work.
This also may explain why some people are reporting Kubuntu 7.04 instalation
problem (installer hangs at 82% - you have to disconnect the network)

Ok -it works now. I didn't notice the "Settings for" dialog before.
Seems that the first time I did the right click, the dialog was not
selecting the right panel. After selecting the right panel manually
once, every works perfectly
