Yes, this behaviour still exists with most recent Lucid. Never tried Maverick. It's not a bug, but more of a feature that only cares for photos and not video so it becomes not so user-friendly. The camcorder i used was a GoPro HD, but i suppose all camcorders are treated the same way. Thanks. --

I successfully reproduced the error with virtualization (using VirtualBox). Strangely it wasn't completely easy to reproduce it. Maybe it's not some unexpected step, but more like a concurrency problem of some type (but note that my knowledge about the internals of this packages is almost none). B
