Here's a patch which should correct this problem. The dicts which

I'm also getting this error and also on an Intel 900 series chipset (
945 ). Since this message appeared, my computer hasn't been able to wake
from sleep. The fans and drives spin up, but nothing seems to happen
after that. No keyboard, no mouse, nothing.

removal of dmraid during a dist-upgrade caused this issue. My only
addition to Ergosys' steps was that I needed to mount my unmounted LVM
volumes before 'update-initramfs -u -k all'.

I have a Dell XPS M1210.
My LCD brightness can go down, but the keys can't bring it back up. If I
start up the power management, I can use the slider to adjust the
brightness.

would suspend, after waking up it would suspend a second time and then
report that suspend had failed when woke up again. All the hardware
seemed to work

I'm having similar issues. I found this with google which I believe is
relevant. Basically the rt patches which are included in the Xen kernel
keep Nvidia from working.

machine do not work in Evince on either machine. However if I make the
PDF on my Gentoo machine the PDF works on both machines.
