Public bug reported: I was trying to switch between two different versions of the nVidia drivers and I had no problems doing so with synaptic. Additionally this error is not system modal so it can popunder the Additional Drivers window and causes to appear non-responsive. ProblemType: Bug

This issue also affected me. I thought I removed just the messaging applet (which I now know is just part of the indicator) and I inadvertently removed the volume control. Later when I noticed the volume control was missing, I tried searching in the Add to Panel window for volume, mixer and sound.

I have attached a screenshot of the gray bar with sensitive business information redacted. This is in the FOSwiki system preferences which always uses the default FOSwiki theme. Chrome does not render the gray bar, IE does not render the gray bar, So I am certain that it is not an FOSwiki problem.

Yeah, this bug causes a great deal of errors. I had slow boot time, general unresponsiveness, and weird wireless disconnects. I did : sudo apt-get remove dhcdbd And my computer became noticeably faster, and I will be monitoring my logs to see if any more of these errors are throw, but I think
