I am running Hardy.
After upgrade from Gutsy, I noticed that in some occasions firefox browser
freezes.
Today, I installed epiphany, but it also froze for no apparent reason.
Later, I found out that both freeze when the scim with anthy are
running, and I try to do something

I just installed Gutsy.
As I started to play around with it, I noticed, that pressing shift key would
freeze the keyboard input in File Browser, in the middle of renaming the folder.
As this happens, I can still rename directories through the terminal,
and the change would be reflected in the Fil
I created the ~/.asoundrc file and /etc/asound.conf file and it is
partially working more. I now have login and logout sound, and also
sound for opening applications. I still do not have sound for JuK.
Probably, I need to still tweak the configuration for this.

I had been using GWC Tech's usb sound card

in dapper drake, but once I upgraded to edgy eft, it only works
partially. Namely, I can listen to CD's and music from Rhythmbox, and
other gnome based multimed
