My Easyport eth port stops working, if I turn laptop volume on. It seems
that eth port works only when volume is on mute (turned off via keyboard
shortcut or sounds menu).

Last time I was still able to move mouse, everything else was frozen.
Again, nothing in logs. Sysrq+b did let me boot.

Many thanks! After installing PPA version (network-manager-pptp
0.7~~svn20081015t024626-0ubuntu2~nm3), encrypted pptp connection is now

At work I have desk computer with two display adapters having this same
problem. Only difference is that primary screen's (i810) WS works, but
secondary screen's (mga) WS doesn't. When I remove WS from secondary
screen's panel and add it again, everything works until the next logout.

terminal (started from gnome-panel menu or launcher) has DISPLAY set to
wrong screen number.
I.e. terminal started on screen0 normally has DISPLAY ":0.0", but very

tcsh still segfaults on Feisty.
"tcsh -f" works, and I'm also able to source all /etc/csh* etc. scripts;
everythings works OK. But without -f it crashes everytime.
