I'm also seeing a related issue where even after reinstalling
systemd-cryptsetup the system just doesn't suspend right. I get

during suspend, and a request to unlock the keystore-rpool on resum
I can confirm that updating from 23.10 to 24.04 also keeps the channel
for pc-kernel at 23.10/stable. However the upgrade did install snapd
2.62 (which seems to work fine). Changing the channel for pc-kernel to
24/stable works fine though.

After a little more digging I found that the OS considers the volume
down button to be XF86AudioStop and the volume up button to be
XF86AudioRewind. Reassigning the keys in keyboard prefferences works to
solve the problem, but due to the redundant mapping loses the stop
hotkey
