Earlier in this thread, a 3rd (and IMHO, best) option was mentioned. You
can use the LocutusOfBorg PPA. He is the maintainer of the Ubuntu build.
His PPA has the latest version (currently 5.0.4) fully open source version
of VirtualBox, with VNC enabled, so the commercial Orcale extension is not
Does your build contain the VNC extention?

The workaround *kinda* works. Here's how it did for me:
1. start ccsm
2. activate Ubuntu Unity Plugin - Switcher - Key to flip through the windows
in the switcher. You will find this option is deactivated. Binding it will not
unbind alt+circumflex right away
3. activate Application Switcher
Alt+Circumflex is used in Japanese IME for Windows to switch input mode.
Had IBUS in 10.04 configured to use the same keys for activating Anthy.
Having to relearn the keys has significant impact on productivity.
So please make the Unity keybinding configurable.

You received this bug
This bug had not been an issue for me in Dapper, but has popped up in
Edgy. At issue is a connection to a courier imap server using TLS
authentication.
Evolution gives the error: Failed to connect to IMAP server
[server.address] in secure mode: SSL negotiations failed
On the server side,
P.S. As I mentioned above, I had been using the lazy (localhost)
courier cert for TLS authentication. Worth noting that even after
switching to a self-signed cert for the correct server address, I have
the same issue.
