21.04.2022 - I installed xUbuntu 22.04 on computer with BIOS (no UEFI) -
installation and reboot OK. There was only warning - "there is no EFI
partition...". Then I put SSD in box SATA-USB and checked boot
xUbuntu Jellyfish desktop amd64 installed with 1 comment from daily iso today

Old BIOS (no UEFI), MBR hdd.
Load updates (yes & no),third party software (yes & no), manual partitioning.
Comment - dialogue after partitioning:
"Go back to the menu and resume partitioning"
"No EFI System

'gsettings get org.compiz.unityshell:/org/compiz/profiles/unity/ disable-mouse'
returned 'false'.
Then toggling the setting from ccsm (unity - switcher) on and off - fixed it
to me too.
