Yes I have it,it comes with Mint 7. I have tried that and on output it shows HDA Intel STAC92XX analog as there and and unmuted,volume turned up to 100%.Also,I have no system sounds at all.There is no sound what so ever.It is why I believe there is a problem with the model.I think. --

I found a workaround by running the following: sudo dpkg --force-all -r byobu This kills the package forcibly. Then I ran sudo aptitude install byobu to get to the newest version. This appears to fix the issue. I can now install other packages and it doesn't complain about byobu anymore.
