Same issue with HP EliteDesk 705 G2 MINI
Turned off all power saving options in BIOS.
Currently running 18.04 HWE EDGE (Linux 5.0.0-15-generic) compiled with:
CONFIG_TIGON3=m
CONFIG_TIGON3_HWMON=y
Tempted to turn off HWMON.

Bug from 2008. I rarely use ubuntu any more. Debian mostly. However if the
auto part formula hasnt changed then there is a problem still.

Near as I can tell there are no symlinks or executable dependencies on
gnome-icon-theme. These icons are usable above and beyond Gnome (other
toolkits, web frameworks, etc...)
Help us keep Gnome off our servers! :)
