according to the developer, xournal 0.4.8-1build1 is hopelessly
outdated; a bug concerning the device designated as touchscreen has
apparently been fixed already in 2014! The developer recommends using at
least the bugfix release 0.4.8.2016

I'm also affected. Bios A02, fresh install of kubuntu 13.10 beta 1. My xinput
looks like Wouter's.
