I have the same problem and sometimes just touching the touchpad doesn't
work to click in something, then I have to press the left side of the
touchpad to click in something. Some minutes after it's working again.

Public bug reported:
When Ubuntu starts the network manager applet show a notification saying
that there are avaiable networks, but when I click on it, it doesn't
show the avaliable networks. So I need to disable wifi and able it after
to the networks list appear. It also usually don't update the
not work in Ubuntu 9.10. I set up as it was in Ubuntu 9.04, but
does not connect.

I also have the same problem with Ubuntu 9.10. Is not usable.
In Ubuntu 9.04 the screen lock, but back when the mouse is moved.
And I know other people with the same problem.
