Hi there - i can confirm this bug.
On two occasions I have had issues with the kernel and grub after an
update. On both occasions it failed to mount root fs and also had many
tty errors. For the record, the kernels in question for me were
2.6.32-26 as well as the 2.6.35-22 kernel.

I have also tried this.
I placed a DVD movie into my PC, and selected the 'play in movie player'
feature in the auto-run pop-up.
After doing this, movie player opened, but an error box appeared stating "Could
not read from resource".
N.B. The movie works fine on Windows Media Player, using Wind
