that the workaround for nozomi modems is use the module from the 2.6.28
series kernel. I also had success running a 2.6.28 kernel.

I am on karmic beta, Dell Precision M6400.
Suspend to RAM works, but when I try to resume, the system "boots" since I
notice that the disk and fan are running, but the screen remains blank.

I've also tried to install modemmanager 0.2.git.20090806 on Jaunty with
NM 0.7.1 from modemmanager-team PPA and it work
Confirmed here, with Kubuntu 9.04 and KDE 4.3 RC3 from ppa backports.
Worked fine in RC2.

I love the scissor idea, maybe it could be used in combination with the
dimmed effect. I think the mouseover effect is necessary because you

When I connecting to Ubuntu Server (8.04) via ssh and run this command "chmod
-R -x DIR_name" and then run "ls -DIR_NAME" command is displayed on the screen
the "?" character instead of the attributes of files.

Totem doesn't play DVB at all in Jaunty due to a missing plugin (totem
2.26.1-0ubuntu5, gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.11-2ubuntu1).
I think this issue need some attention before dropping totem-xine in Karmic!

i agree. Default behaviour is terrible. Using function key is terrible
and difficult.
Just to make alt-f4 you need both hand.
When you press fn change must be permanent (until you press it again).
This is the right way.
