No, I already have libdvdcss2. As I said, it works in an earlier kernel.
It also works in kernel 2.6.22-x (from gutsy repos)

It appears it affects any media file I try reading from dvds or cds. I can't
read anything that it's a media file. Trying to read an avi from a cd in vlc
output this:
[0294] access_file access error: read failed (Input/output error)
It won't even let me copy the file to my hard drive.

Installed 2.6.20-15 kernel upgrade, and still same problem. Double
checked 2.6.20-13 kernel, and found dvds definitely play there.
