Found it out. GDesklet is trying to use Python 2.5, but only 2.6 is
installed.
Developer should fix that.

Since the "startup manager" does not update the savedefault option, i
additionally edited the "menu.lst"

I didn't notice that my Nvidia drivers crashed and they did not work again ever
since, had no time for that. So actually i have to say, it worked for me while
i was using some proprietary (i guess VESA) driver.
Not able to check it with NVIDIA drivers for now.

1) Adding a invalid file into totems playlist, like text. This also
happens when adding a complete directory (e.g. album) containing a text
file.
2) Skipping these files so playing continues.
3) Complete Playback Stop and an Error Message, that the file is not
supported.

After getting it back to work, i was able to find out that on my (quite
slow) GMA 3100 there is absolutely NO Difference between None and Full
Desktop Effects when playing Sauerbraten, Using the Newest Ubuntu /
Compiz / Sauerbraten.
Can be closed.

I just switched to another Computer so its impossible to recreate the
exact problem with the Nvidia Driver, but it still kinda stays with my
Intel Graphics (GMA 3100).
With no Desktop Effects, Sauerbraten runs fine with good performance.
With Desktop Effect, Sauerbraten WILL NOT RUN AT ALL IN FUL
Nvidia, the one in the packacke nvidia-glx-new. Should be version 9755
or so.

level. The framerate is still very high, but there is felt delay when moving
the cursor.
