Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp My laptop's cd drive does not read any cds or dvds. The laptop is a dual boot with xp and Intrepid. The cd drive works fine in xp. I get an error message if I try to open the cdrom in Places > CD-Drive. The error message I get is: Unable to scan
