applet in System Settings. I like to change/set bindings to switch
between workspaces and to move windows to different workspaces. These
settings are often forgotten across restarts and Compiz crashes.

I've tracked it down to the way /etc/init.d/kdm parses
/etc/default/locale. My locale file contains a commented line at the top
which contains the substring LANG=. This is being picked up by

The most important thing for me was to pull out all other network
cards, otherwise the rt2500 would not see any wireless networks.
BTW, I've tested this on two different machines, with identical results.
It appears that the RT2500 doesn't tolerate additional network
interfaces for some reason.

be made to my apt sources. I don't have a /etc/apt/sources.list file,
instead using files in /etc/sources.list.d. This causes the apt-build
