which is available in Universal Access is not popping out when I use the
Mozilla Firefox to search or type something.

This bug should probably be closed. As explained in this[1] thread, one
needs to append acpi_osi= to the grub boot command line in order to
get the brightness hotkeys to work on the lemur (which is basically a
Clevo W840T1).

I have the same problem when building from source on Karmic without even
updating to Lucid. Disabling Compiz does not resolve the problem.

Hi All,
There is new update in the issue. When i log in using a different
username which is not sudo, the CPU is normal. But i see black spots on
the screen which flicker ( even for the sudo user).
