I don't know about the others, but the last couple of days no crashes
like these. For me it seems the latest (Intel?) updates seem to have
fixed the issue.

As of today this started happening to me too, intervals of hours or minutes.
I'm on Kubuntu 15.04, also running xorg-edgers. My hardware is a Surface Pro 3
i5-5300 (Intel GPU). I'd be happy to supply any logfile that would come in
handy.

I second that, I can understand the behaviour on servers or other
mission critical systems, but there seems to be no point forcing an fsck
for such an issue on either desktops or mobile systems. Would be cool to
be able to enable/disable this feature with a mount option (eg.
mount=ignore_superbock_
I'd have to take a look, but from memory it was from 2 or 3 days ago. I
guess just out of habit I just downloaded the daily spin, will the beta

Same here when installing Xubuntu Desktop Karmic AMD64 with debootstrap
and tasksel on Karmic AMD64 (updated 31/07/2009). Manually installing
the packages won't work.

i386 Jaunty (2009-04-6-7) I needed to run 'kolab_bootstrap -b' to
generate a default config. This failes with a message containing
'/etc/kolab/rootDSE.ldif: Permission denied'.
My update to the latest version failed as wel (Ubuntu Jaunty x86_64) due
to a minor error in the initscript. I fixed it as following:

How I got the Hardy xorg running on Intrepid:
1. Move /etc/apt/sources.list => intrepid.list & create a hardy list
mv /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/intrepid.list
cp /etc/apt/sources.list.d/intrepid.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hardy.list
Then open up your favorite editor and edit /
I can confirm the problem Mahdi has, running Ubuntu Intrepid x86_64
(latest updates as of 2008-09-20). My language is set as (US) English,
as per default, and my location is set as Netherlands (for correct
timezone & kbd).
