I am running 12.04 32 bit PAE on a Dell Latitude E6420 with 4 GB RAM and
a 120GB SSD.
After the kernel was updated to 3.2.0-35 I found there was a persistent
kernel panic during the boot process. Please see the attached
screenshot. This problem continued after updating the

I am not able to run this command with the problem kernels booted as
they will not fully boot.
I do not think it would be very helpful to run the apport command while
booted into the 3.2.0-29 kernel as it does not show the problem
behaviour, but if you need me to, I will.

Laptop boots fine with the linux-
image-3.8.0-030800rc6-generic_3.8.0-030800rc6 kernel. Other things are a
bit flaky so I guess I'll carry on using 3.2.0-29 for now?

Coming across requests for help in the Ubuntu Forums almost daily, I
would agree with Irihapeti that it must not be installed by default and
that installation requires a user to read a security notice explaining
