I downloaded and manually installed the NVIDIA drivers version 340.32 from the NVIDIA website. The brightness is still not working. I'm running Ubuntu GNOME 14.10 on an HP Elitebook 8650w, NVIDIA Quadro 1000M and I've tried all workaround suggested above. -- You received this bug notification bec
