Hello,
When I launch 'do-release-upgrade' it always fail saying I have to
report a bug against ubuntu-release-upgrader-core.
I removed all external sources and I don't use any closed source driver.
$ ls /var/log/dist-upgrade/

No longer using Ubuntu anywhere except my already-virtualized AWS
instance, so I'm unable to verify for this, but I appreciate the effort
to fix this. Hopefully someone else who's affected can verify.

I installed bugzilla through Synaptic on Ubuntu 10.10. Didn't change
any config. Uninstalled it through Synaptic. It left a symlink in
/etc/apache2/conf.d/bugzilla3.conf which was pointing to a removed file.
This stopped Apache being able to start. Removing the symlink fix
I'm working fm ubuntu cd, was deleting a batch of files, (while copy-
pasting from one folder to another), when the crash happened and both
windows closed. I think this is jaunty jackalope, from summer 2010.

I solved it, updating kernel to 2.6.38.2 and changed "options
snd_hda_intel model=lenovo-sky" for "options snd_hda_intel model=auto"
