When the desktop background is set to a light colour (close to white)
the text on the greeter becomes unreadable. I have attached a screenshot
showing 3 users are above the highlighted user with their names are not
readable (plus a bonus kitten).

Same as bug 768727 (link below) but affecting the HL 2142 - i.e. prints
infinite blank pages instead of requested job.
The same fix works too - i.e. choosing the "Foomatic/hl1250" variant of
the driver fixed the problem.

This was fixed in the maintainer's latest syntax highlighting package,
but his website seems to be down.
