I've got the same problem (Ubuntu 9.10, fresh installation, not upgraded). Gtk transmission 1.75. Permissions to ~/.config/transmission/torrents seems ok: after removing torrent, the corresponding file in path is deleted too. Simply, an added torrent stay there forever (until removed), without any activity. Regards
