I can't successfully install from a USB install media. I get to the end and
when it tries to install GRUB it complains that there was a fatal error writing

with the intel graphics chip and the broadcom wireless driver.

Unfortunately that machine crashed and took down the FS with it. I had to
re-install and I have not seen it since.
Karmic has been buggy in general on my laptop - can't tell if it is a kernel
issue or an X issue
