So Gutsy's kernel doesn't have a /proc/slabinfo because the SLAB
allocator was replaced with SLUB and slub didn't do /proc/slabinfo until
2.6.24-rc7:

So short of upgrading gutsy to 2.6.24, I don't see how this bug can be
resolved
Confirmed on gutsy x86_64 (MacPro booting Gutsy):

fopen /proc/slabinfo: No such file or directory
--
slabtop fails - /proc/slabinfo not present in Gutsy 64bit
