After the upgrade on the initial boot it still was not respecting the changes but the ghosting was gone. I reset the displays with the Displays utility, saved changes and rebooted again. The Login screen is still experiencing issues (only 3 of the 4 monitors turned on... I believe this is an

So this was odd. I nuked the original install and pulled down the 14.04 from the torrents just now. After the fresh install i couldnt log in to the UI. After a little digging i found that the installer set the uid of my home partition to 1001. Changing this to uid 1000 allowed me to log in. While
