Title:
Mute key LED does not work on HP notebooks
How can I ensure that this bug is also known to upstream? Will it get
reported automatically, or will this bug just sit here and should I
report it elsewhere myself?

Description of problem:
The F6/mute key on the keyboard of HP notebooks often has a built in LED
indicator to show if the sound is muted. The LED state is never toggled. It
will just retain its state, even though the audio is succesfully muted/unmuted.
Tested with HP Envy 1

Public bug reported:
When copying a file from a smb share to a local folder Nautilus will
show Copied 0 files to "destination", with a full progress bar and under
it "0 / 0".
The file does copy correctly however.
On Ubuntu GNOME 16.10
** Affects: ubuntu-gnome
Importance: Undecided
I had this bug when copying two files (~10 and ~150 MB) to a local Samba
share. When the file copy was complete (this was indicated by the file
copy status) the window froze and later closed.

01:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7265 (rev 61)
Using latest firmware. Connection drops after a while of use, pages just
stop loading, no indication the connection has dropped. Disabling and
enabling the wifi fixes the issue.

In X.org I use the following configuration in:
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf
I have this issue too on an HP Stream 11 (also uses RTL8723BE). For me
the workaround setting fwlps=0 also seems to help. This is on 15.10 and

What I also experience is that sometimes after waking from sleep (about

Not a serious problem but if I use my prolific usb to serial bridge in
my usb hub boot up takes about 5 minutes. Both the hub and the convertor
don't cause any hassles if used independantly. The system gets stuck in
a loop and keeps searching for more usb nodes when configured
