[Bug 162000] Re: Cannot use Ctrl-Tab as keyboard shortcut in gnome-terminal

I agree. It seems that the tab key can not be used, regardless of what the combo is. I would like consitent tab management between firefox and gnome-terminal. -- Cannot use Ctrl-Tab as keyboard shortcut in gnome-terminal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162000 You received this bug notification

[Bug 110636] Re: hdparm - cannot set dma on IDE hard drive that works via pata

2007-07-10 Thread Stoanhart
either way, this wont get fixed in feisty. It is definately a lack of functionality in the driver. My CD drive does support DMA, as it worked pre-libata. I think this is an important issue, and should be addressed WITHIN feisty. Since the old pata driver is still included, all that is needed is a

[Bug 116870] Re: [gutsy] GSlice: g_thread_init() Warning messages

2007-07-07 Thread Stoanhart
I would just like to add that I recently compiled the latest stable release of glib, 2.13.2 at the time, under feisty and installed it. Suddenly I started getting this error everywhere. Therefore, it IS glib related. Whether this has always been the case, but the error was not previously printed

2007-04-26 Thread Stoanhart
I am experiencing this issue on up to date feisty (2.6.20-15), on an Asus Z71V. My battery status does not change, and I also can not adjust the brightness of my screen using the hotkeys, or the gnome-power- manager applet. While my chipset/GPU fan seems to be on when restoring from hibernate, my

Thank you for the responses, Sitsofe I will try the acpi-support stuff. However, I did think of the nv suggestion too, and tried it just a little while before your response. Unfortunately, it still did not recover from suspend, so it seems it may not be related to nvidia afterall. I used the

Public bug reported: I first started using Ubuntu with Dapper, which suspended and resumed fine. In Dapper, powering on the laptop from suspend mode caused all fans to spin up to full speed for about 10 seconds, then they would quit and the screen would come on. I am currently (9 Apr. 2007)
