Same problem, but mine only seems to occur after trying to switch from
wireless to wired connection or vice versa.
It also seems to happen if I switch off my wireless switch on my Dell
D620

Static network settings while in livecd do not take effect without complete
restart of network setting
This happens on my system as well.
It seems as though it happens when I try to switch from wired to
wireless or vice versa. If I don't try and switch, however, the dialog
box works fine.
There's no application not responding, but it doesn't repaint the
contents of the box, and it takes about 30
