I've just checked http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/w/wacom-

Firefox does not redraw page background while resizing it's window
(dragging the window border). After resize (i.e. when I release a mouse
button), it redraws the page so the graphic artifacts disappear. The bug

I'll try to express myself more clearly:
0.8.1-6 as released by linuxwacom project does not work (it does,
however, with attached patch applied).
Fix should have been included in yet-unreleased linuxwacom 0.8.1-7 (or
whatever version follows 0.8.1-6).

I finally found time to install Intrepid and can confirm this bug for
package version 0.8.1.4-0ubuntu3.
Fortunately, patch for linuxwacom 0.8.1-6 that is mentioned in my
previous comment (I'm attaching it here) works for me. (I uninstalled
xserver-xorg-input-wacom&wacom-tools and built patche
